HENHAM & UGLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL LIBRARY REFURBISHMENT CHARITY PROJECT
SERVICES: Design & project management, sourcing, specification, bespoke design direction, installation coordination, styling.
Following years of fund raising by the parent and staff association (PSA), and many months of volunteer work, Henham & Ugley Primary and Nursery School Library has been completely transformed. Now a beautifully designed space that is totally unique to the school and its community, which will inspire reading, learning and joy for years to come.
A large 9x7 metre, challenging space right in the centre of the school, the library required an overhaul from a dark and dingy walk through, that lacked the appropriate furniture and layout.
Interior Designer and parent Toni Smith volunteered her time to design and project manage the refurbishment. Taking inspiration from the Schools beautiful countryside setting and the famous Henham village Dragon folklore, her designs incorporate a colour palette, theme and installations that truly bring the outside in.
